How I work

My work is based on a Person-Centred approach. That means therapy with me isn’t something that’s “done to you” - it’s something we do together. It’s a real relationship where we take time to understand what life feels like from your side. I won’t label you, tell you who you should be, or hand you a set of instructions. Instead, I offer a steady, human presence and a space where every part of you is welcome, even the bits you may have never spoken about before.

You don’t need to arrive with a clear story or the “right” words. Whatever you are bringing to therapy - the feelings you can name, the ones you can’t, and the ones you’ve been carrying alone - can be held here gently and at your pace. There's no need to hide, apologise, or perform a polished version of yourself. My role is to meet you exactly where you are and stay alongside you while things take shape in their own time.

There is something powerful about talking to someone who listens without judgement. Feelings that once felt overwhelming or impossible to carry alone can start to soften. Over time, therapy can help you reconnect with parts of yourself that feel lost or out of reach, make sense of what hurts, and hear your own voice again - even when life feels confusing, painful, or uncertain.

I hold an MSc in Person-Centred Psychotherapy and I am registered with the UKCP, which means I’ve completed extensive professional training and work within a recognised ethical framework. More importantly, I am committed to a genuine, human relationship based on warmth, honesty, and respect - the kind of connection where change becomes possible because you finally feel seen, heard, and understood.

Wherever you find yourself right now - overwhelmed, curious, stuck, or unsure - you’re welcome here, and together we can begin to make sense of what’s happening.
